Man vs Bee revolves around the simple plot of Rowan Atkinson, aka Mr. Bean housesitting for millionaires while being terrorised by a bee out to ruin his life!
If you’re only interested in plot and themes and forshadowing in what not, this is not for you. Man vs Bee is silly, slapstick comedy at it’s finest.
Having seen the trailer, the show’s antagonist; a simple bumblebee, was just as surprisingly menacing and equally hilarious as I had hoped and expected for. I laughed out loud multiple times watching the whereas so many other comedies had failed in recent times.
I hope this gives Rowan the career-comeback he needs to bring back his slapstick, wordly minimalistic icon Mr. Bean back. Highly recommended show! 9/10!!
